What if I told you that there’s a place in Manhattan where you can pose with Katy Perry, jump in a huge pool filled with marshmallows and pretend to be sucked in a giant candy-colored hole, all while constantly being fed candy?
Candytopia, the newest uber instagrammable pop up opens its doors to the public today. The Knockturnal got to preview it exclusively for you and we can report that it’s just as sweet as it sounds. The experience is unlike any other pop ups we’ve visited: from the minute you walk in the Harry Potteresque music transports you to a fantasy world where calories don’t count and everyone always looks happy (might be the sugar high).
From the creative genius of Jackie Sorkin, a “celebrity candy stylist,” Candytopia is set to take the city that never sleeps by storm. Opening today at Penn Plaza (145 W 32nd St), Candytopia is described to be a “colossal candyfloss construction melded with a tantalizing taffy twistedness.” Finally a pop up that satisfies our sweet tooth!
With about a dozen different rooms and countless photo opps, be ready to have the sweetest time of your life. Our personal favorites were the confetti room, the candy Cardi B rendition and the neon tunnel.
You have until November 15th to experience the sugar rush so don’t miss out!
