BMF Season 2, Episode 8 Review

It took all of eight episodes of this season of BMF for Lucille to find out that Charles cheated on her.

That’s right! At the roller skating alley, the blow up happens between the two all because Charles left the hotel receipt in his pocket. Not a single lie was going to get him out of this. I wonder what will happen between the two. Divorce? Separation? We will just have to see. I will praise how this was acted since the actors did a great job bringing out the anger and guilt between the two.

Charles and Veronica finally had sex. But we learned more of Veronica’s past after this as she had marks on her body, dealing with her sister’s death as she takes her anger out on herself. I felt that this was a dark moment for the character. Especially since during the 1980’s, mental health was not addressed as it is in today’s world.

Another great scene is between Meech and B-Mickie.  Meech convinced B-Mickie to not kill Bryant and now they have to find the gun that is the key evidence of the investigation. This all lead to B-Mickie trapping Bryant’s son in the closet until Bryant arrived. No gun for B-Mickie.

There are other great moments of the episode along with Meech’s comedic timing during scenes that got a chuckle out of me. Plus, now Southwest Tee got new recruits to transport the drugs and even gave them strict instructions to not mess up like the last driver did. There are two more episodes after this week as the season is soon concluding.
