BACARDÍ has created Rum Room, a five-city event series that is open to the public and allows guests to experience various “rooms” curated specifically for each of their three premium rums: BACARDÍ Añejo Cuatro, BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho and BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Diez.
Just in time for homecoming weekend, the first stop of the national event series took place Thursday in Downtown Atlanta.
Guests were greeted with tokens that coincided with each room and would allow each of them a fun and immersive experience to discover the culture and history behind the brands’ premium rum.

With a cigar rolling station on sights where guests could have their own personal cigars rolled right before their eyes, as well as an intimate art showcase by multicultural artist Oriel Ceballos that his artwork paying homage to the spirits brand, each room had its own unique theme and vibe.
Each room was lit up with its own bright, vibrant color and an open bar serving specialized cocktails where guests could drink and socialize while dancing to the latest (and old school) bops, courtesy of Swizz Beats.
The Grammy award winning producer and DJ hit the stage to provide the tunes for the night and brought his friend Atlanta rapper 21 Savage to join the party.
If you weren’t in Atlanta and missed this epic event, no worries! The BACARDÍ Rum Room will be hitting cities like NYC, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago within the next few months.
To celebrate the release of its new limited-edition Halloween rum, BACARDÍ played the ultimate prank on people by introducing: The Haunted Rum. Leveraging a cast of skilled improv actors and unsuspecting “marks,” BACARDÍ tricked (and treated) people into believing there was a spirit trapped inside its new haunted rum bottle.
