The Knockturnal attended the season 3 premiere of Starz’ ‘Party Down’ at the Regency Bruin Theatre, followed by a star-studded afterparty at a magnificent estate in Beverly Hills. Luxury defined the impressive affair, dazzling guests with the venue, thematic decor, a vast array of food and drinks, and stellar details: from a Party-Down-inspired decorative van to the notable, individually-wrapped cake bites featured in the opening episodes of season 3.
On Thursday, January 19th, The Knockturnal attended the premiere for Paramount+’s ‘Wolf Pack,’ an upcoming supernatural drama series created by Jeff Davis, who also created ‘Teen Wolf.’
The Knockturnal attended an exclusive screening of season 2 of ‘The Game,’ held at Paramount Studios in partnership with the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA).
Especially following the success of season 1, the screening was a lively and joyous celebration where guests could catch up with their favorite characters and get a taste of the new drama brewing in season 2. Football-themed appetizers and drinks were served to match the scenery of ‘The Game,’ and the night concluded with a Q&A moderated by Hip Hollywood and Jasmine Simpkins.

The Knockturnal attended the ‘Almost Hanukkah’ party at Genghis Cohen in LA, celebrating the 75th anniversary of Toys for Tots, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing gifts to children in need.
VIP guests in attendance included Adam Swig, Founder and Executive Director of Value Culture, Jimmie Fails, starring actor in ‘The Last Black Man in San Francisco,’ Tony Kaye, the director of ‘American History X,’ actor and comedian Abby Feldman, comedian and television personality Scott Rogowsky, and Dan Marino Jr.
The successful evening was hosted by Value Culture, a non-profit on a mission to produce cultural and philanthropic events that give back to the community and inspire others to do the same.
VIP Preview of Hulu’s ‘Welcome to Chippendales’ Experience in West Hollywood
The Knockturnal attended a VIP preview of Hulu’s “Welcome to Chippendales” Experience at Rocco’s in West Hollywood, an exclusive sneak-peek at the event before doors opened to the public.
Guests were transported back to the 70s for a thematic glimpse into the series, filled with disco balls, colored lights, neon signs, and fake dollar bills that participants could exchange for merchandise and signature cocktails.
The event was elegantly paced, leaving guests constantly entertained as they moved from room to room for different performances and dazzling atmospheres. In the first, we walked down a colorful hallway filled with “Welcome to Chippendales” neon signs that led to a main room complete with a bar, dance floor, photo booth, and light snacks, mingling while awaiting the dancers to take the stage.
After a costume change from the performers, the group was led into a second room to collect their “Welcome to Chippendales” merchandise, selecting from either a fanny pack or a shirt, and then migrated to an outdoor area to watch the dancers’ finale and indulge in more signature drinks. TVs played exclusive clips from the series throughout the experience.

The Knockturnal attended the LA premiere of Prime Video’s “Good Night Oppy,” a documentary covering the journey of the NASA rover Opportunity, which set out for a 90-day journey on Mars that lasted for a groundbreaking 15 years. Notably, the film highlights the passion, heart, connection, and emotion involved between Opportunity and the earthbound NASA team.
On the red carpet prior to the screening, The Knockturnal spoke with director Ryan White and NASA researcher Abigail Fraeman, one of the starring documentary subjects.
In tune with the extraterrestrial theme, The Culver Theater provided “Good Night Oppy” branded popcorn buckets, along with an assortment of Milky Way and Mars candy bars, and even packets of Space Rocks popping candy.
The passion and pride was almost tangible in the theater as film professionals gathered alongside scientists, researchers, and family members, united over a shared passion and appreciation for the inspiring story and trailblazing mission. “Good Night Oppy” is now playing in select theaters, and will be available to stream on Prime Video on November 23rd.
‘Brag Better’ Private Event Featuring June Diane Raphael, Lauren Lapkus, Alana Hadid, Tylynn Burns, and More
The Knockturnal attended an intimate panel and reception celebrating Meredith Fineman’s best-selling book “Brag Better: Master the Art of Fearless Self-Promotion.” In order to emphasize and explore the book’s themes of empowerment, confidence, and personal success, the panel highlighted the accomplishments and attitudes of the high-profile participants, riddled with entertaining and inspiring anecdotes.
Panelists included The Jane Club Founder and Actress June Diane Raphael, Comedian and Actress Lauren Lapkus, La Detresse Co-Founder Alana Hadid, House Party Creative Founder Tylynn Burns, Actress and Comedian Jackie Johnson, along with Fineman moderating the later half of the discussion.
The camaraderie between the panelists was fundamental to the flow of the conversation, celebrating each other’s accomplishments while also recognizing and celebrating their own, in the “Brag Better” spirit.
The event was hosted by Holloway House in West Hollywood, a beautiful rooftop venue overlooking the LA skyline. To accommodate the unexpectedly cold evening, staff handed out blankets, which added to the already-cozy discussion atmosphere. Veuve Clicquot, appetizers, and charcuterie bites were available to snack on as guests mingled, and Meredith Fineman signed copies of “Brag Better.”
Popular YouTuber David Dobrik and co-founder Ilya Fedorovich launched the first brick and mortar location of “Doughbrik’s Pizza” in Los Angeles, located on Sunset Strip next to Saddle Ranch.
The Knockturnal attended a tasting event prior to the shop’s grand opening on November 12th, featuring an endless selection of cheese, hawaiian, pepperoni, vegetarian, meat lovers, and Giardiniera-topped Chicagoan slices, alongside breadsticks, sodas, slushies, and ice cream. Dobrik and Fedorovich are both from Chicago and set out to infuse a Midwestern touch on the LA restaurant, including doughy crust and the Blue Moon ice cream flavor.
Doughbrik’s is the perfect late-night and fast-casual eatery, featuring a wide variety of delicious slices that are guaranteed to hit the spot, elevated by the shop’s central location in West Hollywood and the craveable menu details, accentuated by relentlessly delicious doughy crust, hot honey drizzle, soda slushies, and ice cream.
David Dobrik’s mass loyal following led fans to flock to the new pizza hotspot. Some fans even camped out to be some of the first members of the public to try out the slices, and Dobrik, Diplo, Josh Peck, Natalie Mariduena, and Tana Mongeau attended the launch event on November 13th.
The Knockturnal attended the LEGO Center for Creative Flow interactive VIP experience, held at Hudson Lofts in Downton Los Angeles. The event was hosted by well-known florist and art director Jeff Leatham and LEGO Brickmaster Jamie Berard.
LEGO transformed Hudson Lofts into a stunning, vibrant arena filled with flowers: both real and Lego-constructed. Guests were fully immersed in the botanical world, with multiple rooms housing different interactive experiences. In one, participants could take photos on a flower-submerged couch complete with a prominent moss-sculpted LEGO logo. In another, guests could have their aura photographs taken and analyzed by professionals, while the last room held a rainbow wall of Legos.
Meanwhile, the main room hosted DJ Ms. Nix, delicious passed appetizers, and a bar with a beautiful assortment of colorful signature cocktails, each one topped off with an edible floral garnish. Tables with small Lego pieces allowed anyone to practice mindfulness and manifestation through building.
Later on, participants had the opportunity to build Lego flower stems and design their unique petals based on feelings they wanted to manifest. Each color was assigned a meaning; for instance, red was linked to passion, or blue to peace. All in all, over 500 guests enjoyed the weekend-long creative and colorful LEGO experience.
