The Knockturnal attended the Los Angeles premiere of Adam Sandler’s animated comedy “Leo,” held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood Village on Sunday, November 19th.
The star-studded carpet included producer, writer, and titular character Adam Sandler, comedian and actor Bill Burr, along with directors Robert Marianetti, Robert Smigel, David Wachtenheim, and many more.
“Leo” is a heartwarming story about an elementary school’s 74-year-old pet lizard, weary from the exhausting repetition of substitute teachers, overbearing students, and general childhood tomfoolery. With only one year left in his life, he decides to escape the classroom and embark on a chaotic journey in the outside world, launching a hilarious and absurd musical adventure riddled with Adam Sandler’s beloved humor.

The Knockturnal attended a Los Angeles VIP launch party for the release of Passion Tree’s new drink: the first-ever mini hard seltzer.
The event was held at the Passion Tree Estate in the Hills, and featured specialty mini cocktails, tacos, appetizers, and guest DJs.
The award-winning flavor of Passion Tree uses a unique brewing process of cold-brewed, fermented sugar cane, with an emphasis on quality and sustainability.
Passion, they currently sell tree mini hard seltzers at Target locations in New York, Florida, Illinois, Texas, and California. The canned seltzers come in a variety of flavors, including coconut, guava, dragon fruit, lychee, and boysenberry.
The Knockturnal had the privilege of attending the Angeleno Live & Dine event, a luxurious culinary affair showcasing the crème de la crème of LA’s culinary scene.
Among the standout experiences were the captivating booths of Casa Luigi and El Cristiano, each offering an exquisite tasting journey.
Casa Luigi, hailing from the esteemed Veneto region in Italy, treated attendees to a delightful sparkling wine cocktail experience. Known for its Prosecco, Casa Luigi exudes quality with every sip. The range of canned cocktails, each boasting a unique color, mirrors the vibrancy of their fruity and flavorful profiles. Meanwhile, El Cristiano’s booth was a celebration of handcrafted cocktails, seamlessly complementing their traditional tequila. With over four decades of tequila-making expertise, their award-winning pure products include the earthy and sweet Silver tequila, the herb and fruit-infused Reposado, the smooth Reposado XR with light spice notes, and the ultra-smooth Extra Añejo tequila with hints of white oak and dates.
The summer soirée also featured renowned vendors such as Yamashiro, Emporium Thai, Alexander Steakhouse, Shucks Oyster Company, Ginger’s Divine Ice Cream, Sandpiper Restaurant, Covina Y Calaveras, and many more. The event was a gastronomic delight, showcasing the finest offerings from Los Angeles’ culinary landscape.

The occasion was filled with summer-themed festivities – including dairy-free ice cream tasting with Holiscoops, creative photo ops, and a selection of AllSaints’ new sunglasses styles.
Caliwater treated guests to a variety of creative, refreshing cocktails, including a spicy watermelon crush and a summer mojito featuring El Cristiano premium tequila and the watermelon, ginger & lime, and wild prickly pear flavors of Caliwater Cactus Water.

On April 26th, The Knockturnal attended the world premiere of Netflix’s ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story‘ at the Regency Village Theatre in LA. The brand-new series is a prequel to Shondaland’s hugely popular ‘Bridgerton,’ giving audiences a deeper dive into the life of Queen Charlotte and her marriage to King George of England.
