Celebrating 50 plus years of British style, and culture worldwide, Ben Sherman unveiled its Spring/Summer 2016 collection to the New York press on November 17, 2015 at their showroom located in the heart of Bryant Park. The collection references inspiration from a series of influences; British Beach huts, The Beatles, Carnaby Street, and Vinyl records. Following the traditional aesthetics for menswear, the collection saw suspenders, shirts, jackets, shoes, and bags in bold, but versatile colors. Being that the brand revolves around highlighting Britain in its entirety, these influences are right on brand.
The stand out pieces leaned towards the accessories. The duffle bags, watches, and hats. Overall, the collection showed to be very clean, sleek, and relatable. Every man can find something from this collection to personalize and make his own.
At the event guests enjoyed drinks courtesy of Bulldog Gin and Heisenberg. The London Mule was made of Bulldog gin, ginger beer and fresh lime juice. The Winter G&T was made of Bulldog gin, Fever Tree Tonic, cinnamon, cloves and star anise. Light bites, monogramming, tailoring, and men’s pampering services were also on site to kick off the next season!
