On Day 2 of the inaugural New York Fashion Week Men’s, Timo Weiland presented his Spring/Summer collection alongside Concept Korea, Robert Geller, Eidos Napoli, Suit Supply and more.
If one could describe Timo Weiland’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection in one word, it would be “Sprightly”. With the a row of prepossessing colors such as, red, blue and green, there is no doubt Weiland imagined a very active season full of liveliness. The collection incorporates a series of relaxed, light jackets, sweaters, matching and contrasting shorts, redundant patterns, and all white lace up shoes. Some of the styling embraced monochromatic looks in silk, denim and suede as well as indisputable adaptability; with some of the pieces being able to appeal to a variety of personalities. The slim fitting silhouettes highlighted the 50’s essence of the collection.
“It’s all about summer in the city. The TV is on but nobody is watching” read Weiland’s slogan referring to the presentation featuring models standing in front of dated white noised televisions on a trapezium esque stage.
