You might know him as Jaime from Comedy Central’s “Broad City” and David Rodriguez on the Netflix series “Narcos.” Arturo can play a range of diverse characters, one of them being his appearance on ‘Alternatino’ an American television series playing out Arturo’s experiences as a Latin Millennial in The United States…
Last week at Vintage New York Lifestyle also known as VNYL, Arturo hosted an intimate gathering to mingle and get to know Arturo as a person as an extension of his role on Alternatino.
He was so approachable and so much fun to talk to, as we shared anecdotes about bars in Brooklyn, specifically Union Pool where he claims you know your famous when the taco guy lets you add chicken to your guacamole. I revealed his secret, but now we know to ask for an off the menu item and let’s hope they give it to us too.
The Comedy Central show will be entertaining and relatable not only for the Latin community but any immigrant millennial. When interacting with Arturo his dynamic personality is portrayed instantly, allowing him to execute roles that are so different than one another so well. This new show talks about things from mother issues to becoming a voice artist extraordinaire, Arturo can convince an audience of any of these varying roles.
Arturo will take us through the life of a Latin man in the U.S. and how those values teach him and uncover things about himself.
