Miami nights have always been legendary — but American Express, Delta Air Lines, and Jon & Vinny’s planned to kick that up a notch further during Art Basel Miami.
Held at the Jon & Vinny’s residency at Miami’s Rubell Museum on December 5, the one-night only Night Shift party opened its doors to celebs, influencers, and other VIP guests who were ready to party even harder after what was most assuredly a whirlwind day of gallery shows and party hopping for most of those on the sought-after guestlist.
The party commenced at 10pm with music from Andre Power and Sky Jetta. Waiters passed around delicious hors d’oeuvres and guests sipped wine as they snapped selfies to light up their social media feeds with backgrounds of the iconic Jon & Vinny’s pizza boxes, along with fun pics hopping on a motorcycle.
After midnight, Jon & Vinny’s iconic pizzas were distributed to the invite-only crowd including Yara Shahidi, Kelly Hughes, Carol Doche, Kaya Tolstova, Jason Tartick and more. The late night fete concluded after 2am with a closing DJ set from James Blake.
But even once the party was over… it didn’t really stop there. After all, what’s better for breakfast the following morning after a full, late night out partying? Pizza, of course. And Jon & Vinny’s always offers the perfect pie.
So on Friday am, American Express, Delta, and Jon & Vinny’s kickstarted the day with a choice of breakfast pizzas — along with a selection of coffees, teas, and juices back at the Rubell Museum. Guests were also offered complimentary early access to the museum ahead of regular opening hours. It was a tasty way to start Art Basel Miami’s big weekend.
