The secret to saving the planet? Buying boxed water.

Boxed Water is truly better, the company which was founded by Benjamin Gott in 2009 has come a long way.

In 2014, the company became part of 1% for the Planet, to pledge the top 1% of their revenue to be given to environment friendly foundations.

The innovative company is based on sustainability and helping the planet with their philanthropic goals by collaborating with The National Forest Foundation.

“Boxed Water’s plan is already half a million trees towards its commitment of planting 1 million trees all over National Forests,” Ray Foote, executive vice president said.

No only do they wish to reduce plastic waste, but they also wish to plant two trees with every Boxed Water post on social media using the the #retree.

At the John Dory Oyster Bar, people with the same intentions of helping out our dear mother nature came together for a fun night of spreading awareness.

The night ended with some nice hypnotizing beats by Shaed, a twin pop-electro duo, Spencer & Max Ernst with vocals by Chelsea Lee.

So next time you are buying a bottle of water check if your local store has Boxed Water and go a more environmentally friendly route. The water will not only taste great, but so will your soul.
