Westin Hotels To Host ‘Match Point Hour’ In New York

With the US Open fast approaching, the city seems a little more alive with a slew of special events just in time for the sporting tournament. For those of us who don’t have enough time to watch the entire US Open, or couldn’t get a ticket, there’s hope yet. The Westin, the official hotel sponsor of the US Open, has created a series of experiential activities throughout the tournament so fans who can’t make it out to the sporting event can be a part of the action. Some of the perks of Westin’s Match Point Hour viewing party includes a live viewing of Westin’s Beyond the Baseline show, where elite tennis players and those in and around the will appear and offer a behind the scenes experience, including player’s daily regimens and pre-game rituals. There will also be tennis consultants to give advice on gear, as well as an open Wii tennis station. To top it all off is a US Open spin on the Westin’s iconic bar menu served alongside their signature cocktails. The bar and live stream will take place from August 31st to September 10th and their tennis gear tune up station will take place from September 3rd to September 5th.

Also in time for the US Open is the arrival of Lavazza, Italy’s favorite coffee. They’ll be touring the streets with their mobile café helping us New Yorkers get our daily fix of great Italian coffee. They’ll be touring the city from September 2nd to the 6th. Patrons will be encouraged to take a selfie with their cup of Lavazza and post it with the #LavazzaPassion tag. Here are their locations and times so you can catch them:
