On Saturday, September 17th I attended LA’s newest rooftop event venue ICARUS. Guests were among the first to experience this one-of-a-kind event space with unrivaled 360° views of the Hollywood Mountains.
Paper Magazine and XRM Media collaborated on the event. XRM Media is an entertainment and media technology entity, with state-of-the-art production facilities, dedicated to combining compelling storytelling with ingenious distribution to push the limits of creativity.
Walking up to the event space itself was an experience of its own. When arriving, guests were allowed to walk through the studio, showcasing the vast array of creative spaces XRM has in-house. Each room had its own functionality and creative purpose. In some cases, projections on the screen added that extra touch of creative flare.
The venue space ICARUS has endless potential for what it can be used for. The space is so big that there could be launch events, weddings, receptions, and so much more. The incredible 360 nighttime views made this location extra special. It was awesome to be among the first to visit and experience the magic of ICARUS.
Our evening consisted of enjoying cocktails, apps, music, and scenery. There was even a 360 camera that took a photo of the crowd as we gathered on the dance floor. The night sky was especially clear in Los Angeles, making it the perfect evening to be out.
