El Cristiano, born in Jalisco, Mexico is contrived of the purist tequila with no additives and a dedication to harvesting only mature agave aged at least five years. Most the tequila consumed today has sugars and thickeners added which changes the true essence of agave. The creators of El Cristiano, Aceves Brothers, Nitin and Karan Khanna, Christian Navarro, Chris Shaffer, and Bill Shaffer have over four decades of combined experience in the tequila industry and a passion for creating tequila of the utmost quality.

Recently the founders hosted an intimate tequila tasting at the private membership club, San Vicente Bungalows to celebrate the official launch of El Cristiano 1761 Tequila. The sleek decor and sophisticated event design was curated by The Influence. Family, friends, and guests indulged in hors d’oeuvres as well as the foundation varietals collection comprised of their signature Silver, Reposado and Añejo offerings. “El Cristiano has created a full range of hand-selected, hand-crafted tequilas from the Highlands of Jalisco near The Village of Arandas, the finest Jalisco Highlands Blue Agave. We create this magical elixir at The Casa Tequilera Aceves and invite you to savor the world’s most delicious tequila, made by third generation tequila makers, together with a small group of close friends and tequila lovers,” the founding team shared. Guests were immediately able to make a clear distinction between other brands commenting on its smoothness and purity. The family centered brand has already made headway as it was announced that TAG GLOBAL Spirits Awards has awarded El Cristiano’s Reposado and Añejo Black flavor with “Double Gold” accolades and Blanco Silver named a winner in the “Silver” category.
