The cast of Epix’s new horror series ‘FROM’ sat down with The Knockturnal to discuss their roles.
From the creators of ‘Lost’, ‘FROM’ follows a family who get trapped in a small town and their search for a way out when unknown forces keep them from leaving.
Harold Perrineau plays Sheriff Boyd Stevens in the sci-fi series and told The Knockturnal, “I play the sheriff of this town where people are trapped and getting hunted at night and it’s my job to keep them safe and maybe help them get out.”
Harold is known for playing Michael Dawson on the hit show ‘Lost’ and said it was nostalgic to team up with the same creators for this project.
“I knew what these gentlemen were capable of and the kind of work and care they would take having worked with them before on ‘Lost’ so for me it was really exciting,” Harold said. “Jack Bender and I have been friends even before ‘Lost’. I was actually doing a project and he hired a woman to come in to do stand-in work and that woman is now my wife of 20 years. So there’s a lot of nostalgia and a lot of heartfelt stuff in there.”
Carolina said of her character Tabitha Matthews, “She is a mother who has been wounded very deeply and she is in this van with her family and she finds herself stuck in this little town and bringing with her all of her problems from her ‘real life”.
Eion Bailey plays Jim Matthews, the husband of Tabitha, and said of his character. “We’re on a trip that can either make or likely break our union because we’ve suffered such a significant loss in our family tragedy and we have not found a way to heal from it yet.”
