Singer Nick Hissom, recently named iHeart Radio’s Emerging Artist of the Year, is the dreamboat behind the hit single “He Ain’t Better,” just remixed by rapper Zoey Dollaz. Nick’s also a bit of a style icon and showcased his signature style throughout NY Fashion Week!
Nick kicked off the week sitting front row at NOLCHA wearing a one-of-a-kind Baroni suit and diamond necklace from jeweler Jacob and Co. He then hit the red carpet at a fashion event hosted by the entertainment news show Celebrity Page. Nick talked about his new single and the message behind it. “It’s about how important equality is for all and self-love,” a theme that runs through all his music.
Nick made quite the impression on Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley who was chatting with her grown daughter, Hannah on Facetime. Since Nick and Hannah have known each other since childhood, Dorinda jokingly exclaimed that he would be a great suitable man for her beautiful daughter. But before the rumors start — they’re just good friends — no dating for these two!
Nick then spent some quality time with Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. at a fashion event held at Bice restaurant in midtown and closed down the evening (early morning!) at Jeremy Scott’s after party at the Playboy mansion.
The next night, Nick was spotted at Catch with Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Guidice and Danielle Staub. Dressed in a custom handmade David August suit, Nick talked about the two appearing in his next music video. It was then time to chill with another famous celeb family – Ali Lohan and mom Dinah, at STK rooftop bar.
Nick was also spotted sitting front row at the VFiles show with Nicki Minaj and Wendy Williams DJ, DJ Boof, just in time to catch Lil Kim at the end of the show! He then hit the DJ booth and stage with one of the hottest DJs out now, DJ Atrak and model and actress Odalys Garcia. The look of the night? Casual chic in Calvin Klein and Adidas.
