Selena Gomez, Keegan-Michael Key, Andy Samberg and more attend the press events for the new film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation
The third movie in the hit animated franchise from Sony Pictures Animation, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation picks up after the previous movies with Adam Sandler’s Dracula deciding to go on a vacation of his own instead of hosting everyone at his hotel. Naturally, the entire monstrous crew comes along, and the characters all find themselves on a very spooky cruise ship, where chaos naturally ensues.
The movie comes out in theaters on July 13th, but before then the Knockturnal was lucky enough to get access to the press day for the film, learning some surprising details about the film and seeing some beloved celebrities.
First up, we were introduced to two of the new characters in the film. Voiced by Joe Jonas, we have the Kraken!

In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
