24K Goldn and Geojam team up to celebrate the release of “El Dorado”

To celebrate the release of his debut album, “El Dorado,” singer 24KGoldn has partnered with rising social music platform Geojam, to reward his most loyal fans. 

Fans can compete on Geojam to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. One lucky fan and their guest will take a private jet from Los Angeles to his hometown of San Francisco and spend the day with 24KGoldn. 

“I think there’s no better way to connect with your fans than giving them the chance to have unique experiences and create memories with you and own a piece of your life and your lifestyle,” said 24KGoldn in a statement. 

On top of a jam-packed day filled with sightseeing, shopping, and quality dining, multiple winners will also have the opportunity to cop some branded merch and receive signed limited edition kicks. For 24KGoldn and Geojam, this venture has proven to be nothing short of sensational. 

“As a company whose mission is for everyone to experience moments together, we couldn’t be more excited to give fans the opportunity of a lifetime with one of the world’s top artists,” said Sarah Figueroa, co-founder, and CEO of Geojam in a press release.

Formally known as Golden Landis Von Jones, the 20-year old found his initial taste of mainstream success in late 2019 with his viral debut single “Valentino.” He followed up by dropping an eight-track EP titled “Dropped Outta College.” The EP had a multi-week run at No.1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. 

Last year, the hip-hop newcomer solidified his spot in the rap game by becoming a member of XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class. Since then, the young bay area native has continued to flourish with zero signs of stopping. Last July, he dropped “Mood” ft. Iann Dior, which was No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks.  The song is his highest-charting single to date. With this release, he cemented his own place in history as the first rapper from San Francisco to ever be certified platinum. 

Geojam is a tech music startup that is actively revolutionizing the way artists and fans connect, share and discover new music. Singer Mariah Carey joined the company as the executive advisor in November. Launched last October, the social music platform allows users to engage with artists on a deeper, more intimate level. Fans can earn redeemable points for exclusive experiences with artists, limited edition items, and exclusive merch. 

The Knockturnal was able to speak with Sam Krichevsky, CTO (Chief Talent Officer) and Co-founder of Geojam about the company and its foreseeable future. 

The Knockturnal: How did Geojam get started? 

Sam Krichevsky: Geojam was founded by Sarah Figueroa, Sam Krichevsky, and Nir Golan in New York City with the purpose of creating the ultimate social media platform that uses music as its connector. The goal was to create an app that mimics the fun of live concerts and helps fans connect with their favorite entertainers.

The Knockturnal: How did the collab between 24kGoldn and Geojam come to fruition?

Sam Krichevsky: Our CEO Sarah heard 24kGoldn’s manager Stretch speaking about the importance of fan engagement and fan experiences and reached out to him to form a partnership. When Golden saw our commitment to creating lasting memories with fans, him and his team pounced on the opportunity to do something with a fan that no one had done before. 

The Knockturnal: What are some up-and-coming developments for Geojam?

Sam Krichevsky: Geojam launched out of Beta 6 months ago and we have been seeing tremendous user growth week over week and month over month. We are continuing to onboard established and emerging artists onto our platform to offer music fans the ultimate experiences for supporting their favorite artists. We are also adding products and merchandise on a regular basis from our brand partners for fans to be able to exchange their points for. Stay tuned for many exciting features that we will be launching to continue building the ultimate fan engagement platform. 

The Knockturnal: Where do you see Geojam in the next five years? 

Sam Krichevsky: Geojam will be the social network that all fans go to for music discovery and to connect with their favorite artists in unique ways. Geojam is a place where fans can experience incredible opportunities with artists and other fans both in a live setting and from their home.
