Sarah, Y7 Studio is known for its dynamic and invigorating yoga sessions. Can you describe your personal energy-boosting yoga routine? How do you incorporate this into your daily life?
Levey: I’m obviously a big fan of our Y7 Studio classes and try to go to at least one a week. On those crazier days, I start my morning with a quick 5-minute yoga flow to set the pace for my day. After that, I make sure to jot down my top priorities. This routine helps me stay focused and energized throughout the day.
Many people struggle with maintaining energy levels throughout the day. What specific poses or practices from your routine would you recommend for a quick energy boost?
Levey: I have a great 5-minute yoga flow that always gives me an energy boost. It starts with Standing Mountain Pose for balance, followed by Standing Cat/Cow for mobility and blood flow, and finishes with Chair Pose to wake up all your muscles. My morning isn’t complete without coffee, and I love Costa’s new ready-to-drink Iced Coffee Lattes. They’re convenient with 85mg of caffeine, come in Mocha, Caramel, and Signature blend flavors, and are made with real cane sugar and dairy milk.
As a mother and a female entrepreneur, you juggle multiple roles every day. How do you find balance amidst the demands of family and running a successful business?
Levey: As a mom and business owner, every day is a juggling act, and not always as balanced as I would like, and that’s okay! My advice to working parents is to rely on your community, embrace change, and set boundaries. For example, in our family, we unplug from 5-8 PM to focus on each other, then we can go back online afterward.
What advice would you give to other mothers and aspiring female entrepreneurs who are trying to achieve a similar balance?
Levey: Say no to things! I am 1000% guilty of wanting to say yes to everything – but the more I say yes to the more i feel like i have to be “on” all the time. Say yes only to the things that really fill you up.
You’ve mentioned the importance of a ritual-based morning routine. Can you walk us through your morning rituals and explain how they set the tone for your day?
Levey: Setting an intention each morning gives you purpose and control, reducing stress and leading to a fulfilling day. I have been doing this lately while enjoying Costa Iced Coffee Lattes, which are perfect for busy mornings. They’re already ready-to-drink, making my morning ritual simple and effective. It’s also a drink I can continue to reach for throughout the day as it only has 85mg of caffeine.
How do these morning rituals impact your productivity and overall well-being?
Sarah Larson Levey: It gives me a home base and a starting off point for each day and gives me something to come back to if I have a particularly tough moment during the day.
We’re excited to hear about Y7 Studio’s new partnership with Costa Coffee. Can you share more details about this collaboration and what inspired it?

What inspired you to start Y7 Studio, and how has your vision for the studio evolved over the years?
Levey: Y7 Studio was created out of personal necessity. Yoga was recommended by my doctors to help with my health issues, and it became my escape from job stress. However, most studios felt unwelcoming with their bright lights and perfect-looking instructors. Feeling overwhelmed and unable to find a suitable place, my husband and I started Y7 Studio as a pop-up in Brooklyn to create an inclusive space. With a dark, private atmosphere, no mirrors, and upbeat music in a hot studio, Y7 makes yoga accessible to everyone. People connect with Y7 because it breaks down the barriers that many, like myself, face in traditional yoga studios.
Looking back on your journey, what have been some of the biggest challenges and triumphs in building Y7 Studio
Levey: We grew Y7 really really fast and quickly went from 1 studio to 6 within the span of two years – it was such a whirlwind and really challenging to grow and invest in my team and myself with so many moving parts. When I did have a moment to take a beat, spending time with my team and really empowering them has been one of the greatest joys of my career so far.
Y7 Studio has built a strong community of yoga enthusiasts. How do you foster a sense of community and inclusivity within your studios?
Levey: We always strive to meet people where they are. There are no prerequisites you need to have to come into our spaces or become part of the community – its an open door for anyone who wants to be a part of what we are doing.
What are your future plans for Y7 Studio? Are there any upcoming projects or innovations you’re particularly excited about?
Levey: We are just really excited to continue growing the studios! Its so much fun getting to share what we do with so many people.
