World Cup 2026 is here.
The playing field is kicking it up in style from hot celebrity sightings to events all over the planet. Things started with th U.S. Soccer roster reveal when Chobani surprised USMNT players Weston McKennie, Christian Pulisic, and Antonee Robinson with custom wearable jersey portraits commemorating their selection to the national team. Each piece was crafted using thoughtfully chosen fabrics that trace the player’s personal journey—honoring both the achievement itself and the path that led them there.
Handcrafted by renowned designer Heron Preston, the portraits incorporate materials inspired by former club jerseys, personal keepsakes, national colors, childhood teams, and subtle nods to family—transforming each garment into a deeply personal narrative.

By removing a participation fee that would typically cost families hundreds of dollars, the program aims to make soccer more accessible while fostering cultural exchange between Norway and New York.
In the spirit of good sportsmanship, folks in town are also finding other ways to get their fun action on while both watching and chatting about games.
