Samantha Michelle launched her program to a packed room at the legendary Downstairs at Drai’s on March 20. The brilliant femme-forward series celebrated the women shaping and redefining the dance music scene.  A powerful statement of intent put on full display how one powerful woman can  build a profound series. No stranger to making a scene, Samantha  has performed on global stages including Glastonbury, SXSW, and Berlin’s KitKatClub, and has collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana, Soho House, The Wall Street Journal, and Christie’s. She has opened for Nile Rodgers, LCD Soundsystem, Mark Ronson, and Miley Cyrus, and recently released her latest single, “Fall Deep.”

Women of House is a community-driven, femme-forward series spotlighting female DJs who are also producers, creating space for representation and connection within the dance music scene. Curated by Samantha Michelle, the series brings together emerging and established talent for a night of music, culture, and intentional community-building — and serves as the live expression of her broader vision for the future of dance music.

Female trailblazers in the booth is both inspirational and timely. There is a true upbeat in the club scene right no and the demand for good music championed by leading authorities like Samantha is notable.

Let the new New York grasp the sound and hold the beat – and never let go. Dance the night away and we cannot wait to see where the sound takes us next with the Women of House.
