During one of fashion’s most high-profile weekends, W Miami transformed into a hub for inspiration, entrepreneurship, and culture as the hotel partnered with Modern Day Wife to host the highly anticipated What She Said speaker series in celebration of Miami Swim Week.
Held on May 16, the immersive evening brought together an influential crowd of entrepreneurs, creators, executives, wellness experts, and celebrity personalities for a night centered on meaningful dialogue and connection. From empowering conversations to experiential activations and fashion presentations, the event reflected the evolving identity of the modern woman—one balancing ambition, wellness, creativity, and authenticity.
The standout moment of the evening came early with a compelling fireside chat featuring entrepreneur and author Elena Cardone. Known for her commanding presence and business acumen, Cardone delivered an energizing conversation focused on mindset, entrepreneurship, resilience, and legacy-building. Her discussion resonated deeply with attendees, many of whom gathered around the stage long before the session began.
Speaking candidly about navigating business as a woman while building a powerful personal brand, Cardone emphasized the importance of confidence, consistency, and long-term vision. The fireside chat set the tone for the evening, offering guests a masterclass in ambition and personal empowerment that extended far beyond traditional motivational speaking.
The event continued with a robust lineup of panels covering beauty, wellness, fashion, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle.

As the evening progressed, anticipation built around the event’s Celebrity Panel, which ultimately became one of the night’s most talked-about experiences. Moderated by Modern Day Wife Co-Founder Meghan Fialkoff alongside The Knockturnal journalist Avyana Chapman, the panel featured cast members from Members Only: Palm Beach, including Maria Cozamanis, Ro-mina Ustayev, Gale Brophy, and Taja Abitbol, as well as New York City-based content creator Kimmy Neeli.
The celebrity discussion offered a candid look into life in the public eye, balancing authenticity with online visibility, and navigating friendships, business, and personal growth while under constant digital scrutiny. The chemistry among the panelists created an engaging and entertaining dynamic that energized the audience and sparked conversations throughout the venue long after the session ended.
Beyond the stage, guests explored immersive brand activations and interactive installations throughout the property. Beauty and wellness experiences from Cutera, Laser Genesis, and truFlex transformed portions of the venue into elevated experiential lounges, while fashion showcases featuring brands like LACE and Shapellx added a runway-inspired atmosphere to the night.
The event also underscored Modern Day Wife’s growing influence as a national lifestyle platform dedicated to fostering community among women across entrepreneurship, wellness, fashion, relationships, and motherhood. Co-Founders Meghan Fialkoff and Meagan Elieff shared that Miami marked one stop on the organization’s 2026 national tour, which also includes New York, Chicago, Palo Alto, Beverly Hills, Dallas, and Scottsdale.
‘This event is about more than just conversation—it’s about connection, visibility, and creating spaces where women can learn, grow, and be inspired together,’ the founders shared.
By blending entrepreneurship, celebrity culture, wellness, and fashion under one roof, What She Said successfully captured the spirit of Miami Swim Week while creating space for deeper conversations around ambition, identity, and modern womanhood.
