Driving to the Culture Drivers event last night while listening to DJ Millie’s awesome tunes on Soundcloud set the mood for the exciting night ahead.
As we pulled up to the valet you could just feel the good vibes radiating from inside Unici Casa. The first thing we see is a brand new red Infiniti Q60 parked with a beautiful lady offering us to get in. We happily accept, take a selfie, and marvel at the luxurious interior. Definitely set the tone for the night of interactive culinary innovations by Chef Roble Ali courtesy of UrbanDaddy and INFINITI.
The crowd was extremely diverse, a mixture of artists, actors and fashionistas all who morphed into culinary dieticians for the night. The food was simply amazing with menu items like Chicken Doro Wat, Duck Egg, French Onion Soup Grilled Cheese, Black Fried Calamari, and my personal favorite Cucumber Lemonade Oyster Shooters. Which all paired well with the open bar drink options like Champagne, Vodka, and of course Tequila.
In addition, the culinary food art curators dressed in all white crafted great experiences using fruit and vegetables are their muses. From literally smashing berries, to shaving beets, to carving cantaloupe. It was a sight to see.
As if that wasn’t enough, we were all graced with live performances from a fire woman (a woman who puts out a fire from a stick with her mouth), a rolling ring guy (a guy who rolls around inside of a giant circle ring) and a group of lit dancers (a dance crew who gets busy while wearing shoes that are on fire).
All in all, the Culture Drivers event was a success. An expectation-defying night across art, culture, food and drink. Thanks UrbanDaddy, INFINITI, and Chef Roble Ali for the great time. Looking forward to the next one.
