V Files organized a presentation to show off their fashion selections for the Fall/Winter 2015 season.

Fashion’s elite certainly made the most of their evening at Vogue.com’s “party before the party” this past weekend – a Pre-Met Gala pajama bash held at New York City’s oldest dim sum parlor, Nom Wah Tea Parlor, in the spirit of this year’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibit.
D’usse and Armand de Brignac presented Rihanna’s Met Gala After-Party at Up&Down in the Meatpacking District.
The BET Honors 2016 was simply extraordinary! This year’s award show was out of this world with a soul stirring tribute from Ledisi to Natalie Cole and a tribute to Maurice White from Earth, Wind and Fire taking us down memory lane and on our feet dancing and singing. I already knew the show would be everything because the red carpet was lit! Eddie Levert talked Pattie Pies and his tribute to her as she received the Musical Art Award while I talked Dennis Basso, Paris Fashion Week and Chanel with Gizelle Bryant and Monica Brown. Gabby Sidibe had us in stiches as we had our #blackgirlmagic moment blowing kisses at the press and inviting us into her photos. As we were waiting to see if any last minute stars would Grace the carpet our host Arsenio Hall sprinted through on his way to the stage but ran back and jumped in photos with us declaring “This is Black Excellence.”

Launched in 2015, My Brother’s Keeper Alliance was created to help eliminate gaps in opportunity and achievement for boys and young men of color. Makers of the mobile game app Candy Crush Saga, the most downloaded app on iTunes, have done it again with their newest creation, “Bubble Witch 2 Saga.” We had the opportunity to experience the game before officially downloading it at a special beauty event hosted by The Beauty Bean’s Alexis Wolfer on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2014 evening at the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue. It was just what the doctor ordered for a Tuesday. We enjoyed great cocktails that got the job done after getting our manicures and makeovers.
The party featured a special guest appearance by my favorite former TV witch, Melissa Joan Hart from “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” Hart resurrected her inner witch as she posed in the Bubble Witch 2 Saga photo wall and checked out the nail bar for a personalized #BubbleWitch2 manicure. It was certainly a night of bewitching if that means getting pampered and liquored up. Wolfer gave out personalized beauty tips to guests and touched on the latest trends while we spotted personality Kelly Bensimon trying to beat level 12 of the game.
Guests enjoyed delicious treats from the Bubbly Bar and relaxed while sipping bewitching inspired cocktails such as the Stella Royal
The game’s objective is to help Stella (the witch) and her cats fend off the evil spirits plaguing their colorful land of Witch Country by traveling the realm and bursting as many bubbles as you can. Much like Candy Crush, each level is comprised of a mysterious challenge to complete in addition to racking up as many points as possible. “Whether you’re an existing Bubble Witch Saga fan, or new to the franchise, Bubble Witch 2 Saga is a game that offers exciting new characters and challenges and can be played across platforms,” said Jan Wedekind, Business Performance
