The Porsche 911 is a signature sports car that has been a staple of the brand for over 50 years. On Thursday night, Porsche and Rolling Stone threw a timeless house party celebrating the 911 legacy and ushering the car’s 8th generation, which hits debuted this fall. Featuring rooms that took partygoers through a tour of each decade beginning with a classic 60’s living room, whisking you into a 70’s office space, an 80’s bedroom (complete with a working Nintendo set), and a 90’s kitchen with plenty of snacks (thanks for the pop tarts and Scooby snacks) Porsche x Rolling Stone set the stage for a fun evening.
To add to the nostalgia, Porsche had a 911 from each generation on display for guests to pose with, admire, and compare to the 2019 version. Some of the notable guests of the evening included car enthusiast and DJ Funk Master Flex, Carl Radke & Lindsay Hubbard from Bravo’s “Summer House”, actress Kathryn Gallagher, & singer Chloe MK a former winner of The Voice. Radke & Hubbard seemed to be having the most fun and mentioned that they would LOVE to drive the old school 911 Carrera around the Hamptons. The party was highlighted by a performance by rock band Atlas Genius.
