It may have been a rainy Art Basel but that didn’t stop The Knockturnal from having a busy Friday.
The Moroso Whitewall breakfast talk with Patricia Urquiola and Patrizia Moroso took place on Friday morning at the Botanical garden in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
We loved seeing our friend Nicole Rosé dj the Jeremy Penn Body Art Movement at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Guests sipped champagne and watched Penn in action as he painted for the crowd.
White Girl Rose and Nylon Magazine didn’t let the rain stop their Basel fun. They moved their brunch party inside to the Naked Taco at the Dream hotel where we spotted The Fat Jewish actually wearing clothes.
The rain took a break long enough for us to sip prosecco on the beach at the Logic Lounge Sunset Celebration at the Scope Miami Beach Art Fair where we spotted friend and Gen Art founder, Ian Gerard.
VH1 wrapped a week-long celebration of the upcoming original film, “The Breaks,” with a blow-out bash in partnership with SCOPE at Nikki Beach. Attendees stepped up their selfie-game in the Cricket “Selfie Vortex,” and enjoyed music by DJ Jasmine Solano, and live performances by Lil’ Dicky and “The Breaks” star himself, Mack Wilds. Hit-maker Salaam Remi, VH1 SVP Caralene Robinson, and NBA Dads’ Dwayne Wade Sr. were also in attendance.
