The 2nd annual Game Awards 2015 took place on Thursday, December 3 at Downtown L.A.’s Microsoft Theater. The show was a fun filled night that commemorated the exciting industry of gaming and brought together enthusiast and developers alike. The show was produced and hosted by gaming maven, Geoff Keighley and sponsored by go90.
Celebrity Guest and attendees of the show included…
Mark Hamill, Kiefer Sutherland, and Shaq who even introduced a newer version of his critically famed game Shaq Fu.
Amongst all the ferment and excitement, a great homage was paid to the late industry titan Satoru Iwata who was Nintendo’s former CEO who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. Reggie Fils-Aime’s headed the eulogy as he shared stories about his former boss and friend, fans were shown the immense lineage of work that Iwata had inspired in the industry and at Nintendo in his 13 years as CEO.
The show was live streamed around the world through go90, PSN, Xbox Live, Wii U, Steam, Twitch, Youtube Gaming, IGN, Polygon, Gamespot, Kotaku, Niconico, MLG, Azubu, Hitbox, and UOL.
