Tequila Cazadores celebrates its 100-year anniversary of their reposado recipe with an unveiling of their new limited edition release and an exclusive dinner with Chef Aarón Sánchez.
The smooth yet flavorful tequila was born in the highland town of Arandas in Jalisco, Mexico. You might recognize the powerful stag emblem printed on every bottle which perfectly represents the strength of the brand and the natural instincts necessary to create a high-quality recipe superior to the traditional pulque consumed at local cantinas.
During the unique experience hosted at De Buena Planta in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles, guests were transported to Mexico to fully immerse in the culture responsible for the creation of the closely guarded secret Tequila Cazadores recipe passed down for generations. “This unique first-ever estate release from the brand will serve as a time capsule of this centennial anniversary for years to come. We are so excited to share this extra special blend of agave from the Cazadores property with tequila enthusiasts,” said Jay Needham, Tequila Cazadores Brand Director.
The evening kicked off with a pre reception including delicious hors d’oeuvres and carefully crafted cocktails. Guests mingled and became acquainted while taking in the soothing sounds from a live band. The intimate evening proceeded with a three-course meal with carefully chosen pairings. Those in attendance partook in a brief tequila tasting learning about Tequila Cazadores’ 100 Year Estate Release which has a smooth and sweet taste with a citrus and vanilla finish and an aroma of intense cooked agave with fruity and spicy notes. The reposado tequila has a bright gold color from the unique blend of tequila from American oak and new French oak barrels. With bellies full and taste buds satisfied, guests were gifted their own limited-edition Tequila Cazadores to take home.
