In a fusion of artistic expression and ultra-premium tequila, Tequila Avión recently hosted an unforgettable evening to unveil their exclusive art collaboration with acclaimed artist, muralist, and painter Gustavo Zermeño Jr.
The event provided an intimate first look at their limited-edition art piece, a celebration of Southern Californian culture and the craftsmanship behind Avión’s Reserva Range. The night included a private dinner at Casa Madera in West Hollywood, a tequila tasting featuring the Avión Reserva Range, and an after-party at the trendy Linden venue.

The evening kicked off with an exclusive first look at the collaboration, displayed at the BEYOND THE STREETS and CONTROL Gallery’s UNDER PRESSURE exhibition until December 23. The collaboration was born out of Gustavo Zermeño Jr.’s visit to the Tequila Avión distillery in Mexico, where he witnessed the meticulous process of crafting the Avión Reserva Range. This range includes the Reserva 44 Extra Añejo, with 44 unique, rich flavor notes, and the Avión Cristalino, a blend of the finest añejo tequila, double charcoal filtered for crystalline clarity and smoothness. Tequila Avión, produced with fifth-generation growers from the finest Blue Weber agave, stands out with its distinct flavors achieved through slow-roasting at lower temperatures and an ultra-slow filtration process, resulting in an unusually smooth taste profile. The ultra-premium tequila is available in Silver, Reposado, Reserva 44, and Reserva Cristalino, offering a diverse range for aficionados to savor and appreciate.
