Bailon being both Puerto Rican and an entrepreneur has been able to learn valuable lessons about owning her own business and is able to offer wisdom to women looking to follow in her footsteps. For many women of color Bailon serves as an inspiration through her ability to balance being a daytime host, business owner, singer, and actress.
Bailon working in the entertainment industry for years and now being a business owner has required her to stay true to herself while balancing being the accountant, manager, spokesperson, and boss of her own businesses. Her tenacity has guided her throughout her professional career. Bailon has learned how to stay true to herself and take a fearless approach to life in the entertainment industry.
“How We Changed It” was the title of the panel held on Friday, Feb. 8th at New York Fashion Week that consisted of four women who weren’t afraid to push boundaries or make their own rules.
