We got a chance to talk with them at the red carpet premiere of the film in New York.
Red Carpet
It’s a cliche, but dogs are, in fact, too good for this world.
Last Monday, The IFC Center, Paw Prints and Muddy Paws Rescue organization greeted us with a fine array of canines, some even up for adoption, as they strutted across the red carpet flair. And yes, they were as adorable as you imagine.
Being situated in front of the IFC theatre in downtown, onlookers were struck with puppy-dog eyes belonging only to some of Instagram’s most famous pooches. And that’s in addition to the adopted ones. Variety was a strong proponent of Monday’s event.
Of course, the list goes on and on. Nevertheless, the event was regulated to a few dogs, mostly to advertise the adoption effort by Muddy Paws. For clarity: Muddy Paws spear-heads the life-saving work necessary to find homes for displaced dogs city-wide. The Monday screening, of which also went by another, more creative honorific: the first annual Paw-liday Party, was yet another venture for the group to tackle, raising upwards of $4000. The benefit screening concluded with a broadcast of Christopher Guest’s 2000’s Mockumentary, Best In Show.
