The New Year is now imminent. And with less than a week before 2017 is gone forever, The Knockturnal would like to bring awareness to a myriad of celebrations, parties and the like – all happening in the hottest places.
David Guetta x NYE
With 50 million album sales and 10 billion Spotify plays in tow, it’s not hard to see the potential in this special New Year’s Eve celebration: David Guetta x NYE. Showcased by Light & Life and hosted by Grammy Award winning producer, David Guetta, this end-of-the-year bash will be one to remember. Taking place at Depot 52 Warehouse in Brooklyn on Dec. 31st, tickets for the show are now available here.
Purple Rain Dance Party
Presented by the Hogstad Brothers and the Syndicated bar in Brooklyn, the 4th annual Purple Rain NYE party is set to commence on Dec. 31st. This year’s motif honors the late Prince Rogers Nelson in a larger-than-life dance rotation that takes Prince’s inspiration to an electrifying new level. Visual presentation and crowd-interactive projects are to accompany party-goers on the dance floor. Tickets are available here.
Fireworks at Bar Hugo
A party of the cheaper variety, Bar Hugo is hosting their NYE celebration with panoramic views of Lower Manhattan, fireworks and plenty of cocktails. Surely, with the Champagne toast at midnight, among other things – like no cover charge – you’re sure to get your fill to top off the new year. Doors open at 8pm at 525 Greenwich Street.
French Montana’s New Year’s Eve
A get-together on the West coast, the Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas is to host special guest French Montana in preparation for the New Year. As stated by the site, heavily-pressed hors d’oeuvres will be commonplace between 9pm and midnight, with a premium open-bar to accompany party-goers on their way to 2018. Fancy attire is a necessity. Tickets are available here.
Dave Chappelle + John Mayer’s Controlled Danger
Not one, but two award-winning celebs are hitting Los Angeles in this New Year’s performance. And with none other than comedian Dave Chappelle and musician John Mayer, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better experience, dubbed Controlled Danger. The first half of the celebration will include solo acts from both celebs, culminating in an exhilarating performance from both actors in a humorous second half. Tickets for the party can be found here.
