It was an exciting evening for Ballet lovers on Thursday, as Tribeca Festival hosted the world premiere of “Flower,” a captivating short film produced by renowned ballerina Misty Copeland’s production company, Life In Motion Productions.

Guests including Misty Copeland in Prabal Gurung, Bridget Moynahan in Maiyet, Molly Ringwald in Marina B jewelry, Jennifer Tilly, Cynthia Erivo, Star Jones as well as Nigel and Cristen Barker joined the American Ballet Theatre last night to celebrate its spring gala, which raised more than $1.7 million for the organization.
Additional notable attendees at the 700 person event included Amy Fine Collins, Amy Astley, Anh Duong, Arianna Rockefeller, Bettina Zilkha, Diane von Furstenberg, Eric Rutherford, Fe Fendi, Gillian Miniter, Hamish Bowles, Jamee Gregory, Joanne de Guardiola, Joey Maalouf, Natalie Kaplan, Prabal Gurung, Serena Boardman, Sutton Stracke, as well as Lainy Hedaya of Haute In Habit and Pari Ehsan of Pari Dust.
Guests were treated to a special performance at the Metropolitan Opera House featuring Ms. Copeland in Firebird, the world premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s newest piece, and the return of ballet legend, Alessandra Ferri to the Metropolitan Opera House stage. Following the ballet, guests walked along the plaza to the David H. Koch Theater where they enjoyed a multi-course dinner and dancing to music by DJ Coleman.
