The 2018 New York Fashion Week kicked off this past Thursday and American designer and MILLY co-founder Michelle Smith was amongst the many big names in fashion to preview her Fall/Winter 2018 Collection on Friday.
This year has truly been the year of beauty from the various collaborations to launches, for the average makeup user it was hard to keep up. Although here we have got you covered, there were some beauty launches that truly changed the game and here they are:
Cosmetic line CYO received a nice size crowd at the launch of a new makeup collection created for the unique woman who happens to be a younger consumer who are experimental. CYO boasts, “What does CYO stand for? Whatever you want it to! Call your own, create your own color your own…it’s beauty on your terms. CYO give women the tools – not rules.”
The collection includes product for the eyes, lips and face such as a two-in-one lipstick and lipliners, metallic eye shadows, dual-ended highlight and contour stick as well as, illuminating mixing cream. The price ranges from $3.50 – $7.50 and available at Walgreens and Walgreens.com.

Caress Body Wash
My favorite part of the morning is taking a warm shower. I cherish those few moments of calm before my day begins. I’m always on the lookout for gentle body washes that can help start my skin off on the right note.
I recently tried out the Caress Body Wash Collection and fell in love with how great everything smells. My favorites were the Sheer Twilight Body Wash and Daily Silk Body Wash. The Sheer Twilight Body Wash is bold and mysterious with black orchid and notes of golden amber, dark woods, and exotic fruits. While the Daily Silk Body Wash is more delicate and sweet with notes of orange blossom and white peach. The Tahitian Renewal Body Wash contains hints of pomegranate and coconut, while the Pure Embrace Body Wash contains almond oil and white flower extracts.
The key ingredient in the washes is Caress’ unique Floral Fusion Oils. The Oils allow for the scents to last longer than traditional formulas. The washes are gentle but strong and the scent lingered on my skin all day.
POND’S Cold Cream Cleanser
This brought back memories for my mom. When she opened the jar, she smiled; she said she could smell her childhood.
This was my first time trying the POND’s Cold Cream Cleanser. I opened the jar and it smelled amazing. I was hesitant to try such a rich moisturizing deep cleaner but I was left pleasantly surprised. The cream removed all of my makeup without leaving it dry or super greasy. Part cleaner, part moisturizer, it left my skin super soft and clean.
