Lincoln Unveils 2025 Aviator with All-New Technology, Color Options, and More
Lincoln has introduced the 2025 Aviator with new colors, a refreshed design, and a ground-up rework of its technology stack.
On August 15, Lincoln reminded us of the importance of finding the time to unwind and recharge your batteries.
A luxurious day was spent at the New York City chic landmark, Casa Cipriani. The hosted day was about discovering a grounded moment full of reflection, delicious food and drink, and community values that are synonymous with the tantamount qualities of one of the world’s most spectacular vehicles.
Grounding life and finding the beauty of the day was a theme expressed at the splendid soiree that began with yoga followed by a delectable meal. Overseeing the grand view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of liberty, invited guests enjoyed the curated offerings that were showcased in tribute to Lincoln’s new partnership with the hotel and private members club. Bringing together an eclectic sense of community values was a divine way to share life’s simple pleasures.
La Dolce Vita was a perfect vibe for the simply lovely way Lincoln makes you feel euphoric every moment of the day. Beyond just a national holiday, the company passionately curates blissful joy for the consumer. Whether they are taking advantage of an in-house program of driver experiences while visiting New York City and staying at Casa Cipriani or they are making the most of life from home, there is truly nothing better on the market than the highlights of the Lincoln portfolio. This is about creating a perfect sanctuary for the vehicle owner. Life in the fast lane can also be a pleasant journey.
Wellbeing and happiness are the core of the Lincoln brand philosophy. As expressed through its products and experiences, they deeply are committed to making consumers love their environment. Lincoln designers and engineers have worked with diligence to craft vehicles that can positively contribute to overall comfort.
“The space that surrounds you has an immense effect on your overall mood, temperament and how you feel,” said Kemal Curic, global design director, Lincoln. “Crafting a space that goes beyond traditional – one that is a serene sanctuary, elevates the senses and impacts the client’s mood daily – shows our job as designers is much more powerful than just designing cars.”
A century of innovation has led to innovative technologies and signature features like 30-Way Perfect Position Seats and Lincoln BlueCruise advanced hands-free driver assist system, and future-forward offerings like Digital Scenting and Lincoln Rejuvenate.
Things that are expected to attract consumer interest include the all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. It is the very first vehicle in the Lincoln lineup that was truly designed from the inside out. From a “me” space to a “we” space, the Nautilus interior offers a flowing space that’s maximized for the ultimate comfort of occupants in every row and enhanced with cutting-edge technology.
Also notable is the Available Auto Air Refresh is a holistic air filtration and active air monitoring system. Using Corsair and Aviator’s cabin particulate and odor filter, Auto Air Refresh helps clean the cabin air by filtering out particles caused by atmospheric dust, tobacco smoke, smog, and some allergens, including pollen. The system can be accessed in the center stack screen, where the particulate matter count inside the cabin can also be viewed. From there, the vehicle will purge the air inside as needed and then filter fresh air in.
And, of course, there is the incredible Lincoln BlueCruise technology adds hands-free highway driving to the portfolio, and is available on the Navigator, Corsair and soon, the all-new Nautilus. On the Road to East Coast Luxury with the 2023 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring
Traveling in North America is always a lovely experience.
On the Road with Lincoln Corsair
East Coast American road trips frequently include the path from New York City to Philadelphia.
With luxury vehicles becoming more of the norm, and models that were once high-end becoming more affordable than ever, it is clear that luxury features have begun to bleed into the realm of cars purchased by the average joe as parts become cheaper and more commonplace. How then, will it be possible for manufacturers to draw the line? Wealthy clients clamor for comfort, status, and exclusivity, and yet every expensive vehicle seems rather cookie-cutter.
The new Corsair upgrades with next-generation Active Glide technology and refined design, strengthening Lincoln’s Small Premium SUV Segment
To celebrate the new launch of the 2023 Lincoln Corsair, we were invited by Lincoln to Detroit “Motor City”, Michigan where we had a first-hand introduction to the updated premium SUV.
The Corsair is an exciting entry to the Lincoln fleet and the most successful SUV for the brand. With this year’s launch, it continues to build on the line’s product momentum by marketing to align itself to trending tech and the younger consumer demographic.
Playing up the character of the refined Corsair
“Evolving the design of the popular Corsair was an exciting challenge, and our team accomplished this in a very unique and dynamic way,” said Kemal Curic, global design director of Lincoln.
The new prominent grille on the Hybrid Grand Touring model is a perfect example of this, updated with a wave surface, chrome finish, and blue accents that lean towards a more fashion-influenced aesthetic, somewhat similar to monogram patterns of high-end retailers. The Hybrid Grand Touring model also features new wheel options, like the larger twin 5-spoke which gives a new level of precision to the Corsair’s look yet maintains its fluidity, making a big personality change to the distinctive car.
Stepping into the cabin, it’s apparent that Lincoln carefully designed a more sleek, minimalistic approach.
“Refreshing colors and themes create an ambiance that shift the mood of the interior, creating a warm environment and a luxurious experience that is uniquely Lincoln.”
The refresh adds new colors: Crystal Red and Whisper Blue exteriors and Smoked Truffle and Eternal Red interior themes.
We were a huge fan of the Smoked Truffle interior colorway that translated from the leather to the stitching and throughout the vehicle. The warm and neutral tone of this color family coupled with choices like the wide glass sunroof make it inviting, contemporary, and spacious.
Tech: Star of the show
The new 2023 Corsair introduces a next-gen ActiveGlide 1.2 driver assist which includes lane-changing, in-lane positioning and predictive speed assist in addition to changes to the existing cameras, sensors, and electrical architecture. The Lincoln Active Glide gives the driver more flexibility and monitors their face and eyes to ensure that the driver is paying attention.
The climate buttons from the previous model have since been moved up to the screen to free up more real estate for personal items and wireless charging. With a streamlined console panel, the new Corsair now provides more space in the front seats, and gives opportunity to highlight the ambient light elements that are key the car’s design.
The new 13.2 inch screen is crystal clear, hi-res, and unerringly intuitive to use. It’s a breeze to multitask within applications like Spotify, Voice-to-Talk Alexa, and Navigation. In addition, Lincoln has elected the all-new adaptive cruise control to be a standard feature which has the ability to set a specific automatic tolerance on the road, enabling speed adjustments for turns and even roundabouts.
Depending on your climate region, the Auto Refresh feature might be a significant selling point, especially in areas prone to smog or forest fires, the feature allows the cabin to automatically refresh the air on a cadence of 1.5 times every minute.
With the updated model in Lincoln’s portfolio, the Corsair aims to build awareness and advocacy for the brand to cement itself as a competitive player in the hybrid and electric car space.
The 2023 Lincoln Corsair is now open to order at www.lincoln.com, and will arrive in showrooms in early 2023.
