After a successful festival run, an official screening of ‘The Last First: Winter K2’ was held at the IFC Center in New York City on Thursday, October 1, the evening before its wide streaming release on Apple TV. The screening was followed by a Q&A with director Amir Bar-Lev.

Our verdict: tense and striking in stretches, held back by thin human characters, and we would still see a sequel.
