Stone Street has become one of my favorite little secrets New York City has to offer. While not being inherently hidden or a secret, I feel that it lacks the night life acclaim that other parts of the city hold.
It’s far too often that I hear that there’s nothing fun to down in FiDi and that couldn’t be farther from the truth, especially in the Fall. With Oktoberfest in full swing, some of the best places to celebrate are downtown in the Financial District.
The coffee scene in New York has been pretty good for a long time now. A little too long. Lately, it feels like the days of unique, one-off coffee shops that were cool purveyors of fine beans have gone the way of Starbucks and become a series of mass produced chains bereft of charm.
London + Martin, a new tavern located in the Financial District (FiDi) of New York City, is set to open its doors on May 3rd, offering a sophisticated dining experience with a classic elevated menu.
Jefferson’s Ocean created the perfect setting to enjoy a happy hour while commuting home.
Instead of taking the regular ferry, people will be able to enjoy an exclusive whiskey tasting while commuting to Brooklyn – or even if it is just for the scenic view of the New York City skyline – it is definitely worth it joining in this unforgettable voyage.
The New York limited edition is an homage to New York City, while pairing Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea with “Mothershuckers” Oysters, pigs in a blanket, lox and cream cheese bagels, or the traditional New York Pizza, this promises to be an immersive experience in all that makes New York, well New York.
The experience will happen every Wednesday in October for “Waterway Whiskey Wednesdays” where you can enjoy a “sea-nic” and happy hour so you can be the first to taste Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea in this newest Ocean Voyage Expression.
They also offer wristbands if needed for those who might suffer from sea sickness to make sure you have the experience of a lifetime!
The Jefferson’s boat departs every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. from the North Cove Marina on Vesey Street in lower Manhattan.
