After being the main character in over twenty incredibly thrilling novels, there are very few things that Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett hasn’t gotten up to.
To make things even better, he’s about to check being the main protagonist in a TV series off of the list. Spectrum’s all new show Joe Pickett stars Michael Dorman as Pickett, as he and his family as they navigate the changing political and socio-economic climate in small-town Wyoming while also investigating the schemes and secrets of the area. The everyday ups and downs of Pickett’s life are only increased when a dead body is discovered, and it’s up to him to uncover its past.
Despite there being over twenty years since the first novel was written, it’s taken almost four attempts for the titular character to hit the big screen. But now as it premieres with its incredible cast, it proves to have been well worth the wait. The cast and crew works together to create an immersive viewing experience as we get a firsthand view into the life of Joe and his family. It’s not easy to bring a mystery novel to life, especially one with so many intriguing details, but Joe Pickett does not disappoint. It’s a story that kids of all ages can enjoy, and the immersive animation style creates a beautiful cinematic experience that will touch the heart of any viewer. It’s truly a place unlike any other and anyone who sits in it for awhile will be moved and amazed.
