A$AP Ferg, Fabolous, Bryson Dechambeau, & More Attend DJ Khaled’s 3rd Annual Golf Classic

Last Thursday music and sports industry legends gathered to take part in DJ Khaled x We The Best Foundation’s 3rd annual Golf Classic at Miami Beach Golf Club. This celebrity golf tournament raised tens of thousands of dollars for local Miami based charities and even gave local high schoolers a chance to watch the action. Special guests included A$AP Ferg, Fabolous, Bryson Dechambeau, Jeezy, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Omarion, Ben Da Don, Jay Cinco, Pretty Vee, Angie Martinez and more. The day started bright an early and featured a plethora of food and beverages along the way. From a breakfast buffet in the morning to coconut water in real coconuts, an entire Raising Canes tent to Trill Burgers, Khaled ensured his guests were fueled up for the competition.

Before the tournament began Michael Eaves introduced Khaled on stage and shed light on the amazing giveback work Khaled has been doing for the local community. Khaled even presented $20,000 and $30,000 checks to other non-profits on behalf of We The Best Foundation. After this heartfelt moment, Grammy-award-winning  saxophonist Mike Phillips graced the stage and kicked things off with a performance. After an exciting golf filled day Khaled invited guests to enjoy another amazing spread of food and lite bites followed by a closing ceremony where the tournament winners were announced. Khaled’s beautiful wife and children joined him on stage as he thanked everyone for participating in another successful year of his annual Golf Classic. Check out our full recap on Instagram.

Vybz Kartel, J Balvin, Rich The Kid & More Celebrate DJ Khaled’s 50th Birthday at 3rd Annual Golf Classic Welcome Reception & Charity Auction

Last Week DJ Khaled and We The Best Foundation hosted his 50th Birthday Celebration in tandem with his 3rd Annual Golf Classic Welcome Reception and Charity Auction. The star-studded affair was held at the illustrious Casadonna in Miami Beach and left nothing to be desired. Special guests included Vybz Kartel, J Balvin, Rich The Kid, Offset, Fabolous, Fat Joe, N.O.R.E, Omarion, Murda Beatz, Fridayy, Jarule, John Wall and more. From the love-filled gathering it was evident that Miami don’t play about Khaled. Not only that but guests supported his charity auction raising funds for the local community and those in need. In addition to Khaled’s birthday, he was also celebrating both he and his wife turning 50! The evening included lite bites, hors d’oeuvre and desserts that circulated all night, an open bar with premium liquor and the opportunity to connect with the industry’s elite and most beloved power players. Heavy hitters from the music, fashion, sports, entertainment and art industries all collided under one roof for DJ Khaled. Khaled’s annual golf classic has become a staple during Miami Art Week and continues to grow bigger and better each year leading to more charity funding. On The Scene: We The Best Press Conference Pt 3

After Khaled finished making his announcements and letting guests know what was in store for this year, the city of Miami honored Khaled by naming  February 9th “WE THE BEST” day in the city of Miami and November 26th “KHALED KHALED” day in the city of Miami Beach. Khaled was also given the key to the city of Miami and Miami Beach for his generous contributions to the community, and his ongoing civic engagement. “I’m not giving this award to Khaled because of his celebrity. We’re giving it to him because he has taken that celebrity and done something extraordinary and special with it,” said Mayor Dan Gelber of Miami Beach.
