Later, attendees danced to DJ Cassidyβs high-energy beats. The charity Gabrielleβs Angel Foundation sponsored the event. Attendees raised $2.8 million for cancer research at the cancer research gala.
For over two decades, Gabrielleβs Angel Foundation for Cancer Research has honored Gabrielleβs legacy by funding early-career scientists. Since its inception in 1996, the charity has raised over $39 million from grants. On average, eighty-eight cents per dollar donation funds research. The Foundation became one of the largest non-governmental organizations supporting blood cancer research.
At the 2022 gala, the Foundation announced an exciting partnership with The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research. In 2022, The Mark Foundation selected a Gabrielleβs Angel Foundation grantee as a fellow. In addition, The Mark Foundation began co-funding a $500,000 grant. Two collaborating Gabrielleβs Angels alumni will receive the grant. Both Foundations hope to reinvest in alumniβs vital work and advance cancer research.
New York Times best-selling author Jill Martin emceed the event. Evening sponsors included Alfa Romeo, Titoβs Handmade Vodka, and Mazerati of Manhattan. Lydia Fenet hosted a live luxury item auction. Items included dinner for eight at Raoβs with Chazz Palminteri and Lorriane Shwartz jewelry. Other items included art pieces by Peter Tunney and a Sha Spa Wellness experience in Spain.
Notable guests included Mayor Eric Addams, Joy Corrigan, and B. Michael. Tommy and Dee Hilfliger danced the night away. Ramona Singer, Melissa Gorga, and Montego Glover had a great time. Each guest left with a Fabletics gift bag filled with cosmetics and novelty items. Products from Grande Cosmetics, WEN by Chaz Dean, and Beauty Stat impressed attendees.

The multi-sensory paper flower shop sought to reimagine the joie de vivre of fresh florals by bringing their eternal joy to life with paper mediums, and spark collaboration and creativity through inspired conversations, exclusive jazz performances, one-of-a-kind bouquets, and whimsical cocktails.
βItβs been an honor to collaborate with Jameel on Fleuriste ST~GERMAIN,β said Zoe Bradley of Zoe Bradley Design. βWorking alongside an artistic peer allowed me to endlessly leverage my imagination and create emotive installations that reintroduced the elation of fresh flowers.
