The summer has arrived and so has Summer Fridays at Clinton Hall!
If you love the summer, you’ve gotten a whole new reason to celebrate! Clinton Hall is ready to get festive with you during its Summer Fridays. It announced its delicious summer menu and Friday all day happy hour, because like the brand says, “fun is always on tap” and we can definitely see why (#funisalwaysontap). We attended the summer soirée at the Clinton Hall Midtown East location at its Gigawatt Garden, and the spot was a secluded backyard party, with picnic tables, a bar, two colorful murals, and picnic games like large Jenga (a beer-themed Word Wall and Bubble Hockey will be offered on Summer Fridays as well). The backyard was a magical nook that provided peace from the hustle and bustle from the loud city.
We were introduced to the delicious new seasonal summer menu that was created by Executive Chef Darryl Harmon and included grilled cheese and tomato soup (my personal favorite), grilled watermelon with feta cheese, corn slices, burger and fries, and fish tacos. The grilled cheese had a sweet taste that was new to my taste buds and it matched well with the savory tomato soup. My other favorite was the freshly made and heated glazed munchkins at the end, that came with caramel and vanilla dipping sauce.
My go-to drink was a refreshing grapefruit seltzer and other options included, Supercraft beer, hard seltzers, and wine and cocktails, and we totally get why the #funisalwaysontap.
The summer menu: “Treat your tastebuds to the refreshing new Summer Menu from Executive Chef Darryl Harmon including favorites like the Famous Doughnut Grilled Cheese, Double Smashed Burger and other delectable bites like the Grilled Chicken Italiano, Sauce’d Pizza, Grilled Watermelon Salad, Cacio E’ Pepe Balls, Luscious Lemon Berry WTF Waffle, Chorizo Quesadilla and more.”
All day Summer Fridays Happy Hour is from 12-6pm and offers a vast variety of delicious and affordable drinks: “$6 drafts, $7 well drinks and house wines, $10 Red Bull & vodka, and $8 eats including ChickenWings, Buffalo Cauliflower and Waffle Fries.”
