SUBPAC Brought Sound You Can Feel at the Exclusive Venice Pop Up

The revolutionary audio technology company, SUBPAC has introduced sound that you can feel!

SUBPAC is a wearable technology that pulses sound through your body giving you a patented, high fidelity, full-body experience. The creators believe that “sound vibrations deepen our connection to music.” All you music fans, especially bass lovers, this just might be your new best friend!

Recently SUBPAC hosted their first ever pop up shop from December 4th to Friday, December 14th in Venice, CA and guests got to have a one on one deeply immersive experience on site. Of course The Knockturnal had to check out what this pop up was all about. First up, I tried the M2X which is a sleek, lightweight backpack. The M2X is unlike traditional entertainment whose audio is only heard through speakers or headphones, this technology allowed for a visceral connection to the music. I plugged in my phone, headed to my playlist and the magic began! I played songs from Meek Mill’s new album Championships and as soon as that beat dropped, boom, I felt the sounds vibrate throughout my body. There was no longer a need to keep turning the volume up because I literally was enabled to vibe with the beat and feel like I was walking around in my own personal concert. I played songs from all sorts of genres, hip hop, EDM, pop, trap and was pleasantly surprised that the vibrations changed in force and pressure to truly match the essence of the sound. It takes music appreciation to a whole other level. And while the M2X is great for music it can also be used for video games, virtual reality and cinema. I can only imagine watching The Lion King with an M2X, mind blowing experience I’m sure.

After jamming out to my favorite tracks, I was introduced to the meditative “bass bath” experience with a high fidelity full-body lounge chair. The lounge chair is not quite available to the public yet so guests that took advantage of the pop up were in for an exclusive treat! As I stretched out on the comfy lounge chair listening to calming music and feeling the subtle impulses of the sounds, I felt my entire body relax. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and becoming one with the music. Whether you’re at home, in a studio, in your car, working out, at a festival, hard of hearing, SUBPAC has pioneered a revolution in physical audio that will forever change the game!
