On Wednesday, December 12th, Osamil in Manhattan offered an exclusive happy hour preview of their new luxury mixology classes. Consumers will be able to participate in these exciting and informative classes during the holiday season, learning how to create their own FACUNDO Rum Collection-inspired cocktails.
The brilliant evening began in the private upstairs bar at the gorgeous Koreatown Gastropub location. Attendees were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail and invited to mingle before the class began.
A generous spread of hors d’oeuvres and dessert tempted guests throughout the evening. The delectable nibbles provided were inspired to pair perfectly with the night’s signature cocktails and the calm, fun atmosphere.
The class commenced, hosted by FACUNDO brand ambassador Robert Nieves, along with experienced Osamil bartenders. First up was a crash course in the four luxury sipping rums from the Collection. Nieves then showcased techniques on how to mix specialty cocktails featuring FACUNDO NEO white rum and FACUNDO EXIMO dark rum.
The cocktail that stole the show was hands down the Pandan Daiquiri, which guests were taught to mix for themselves. This unfrozen, Asian-inspired daiquiri was prepared with FACUNDO NEO, Pandan syrup, and fresh lime juice. Throughout the evening, the charismatic instructor sprinkled in knowledgeable tidbits about the history behind the FACUNDO Rum Collection into the boozy fun.
Osamil is opening their luxury cocktail-making class experience to consumers for a limited time beginning in January 2019. Classes will be held in small intimate sizes in the Osamil’s private Koreatown bar. Attendees will learn how to shake and stir libations made with rum from the Bacardi family’s private reserves. The class is perfect for a personalized unique last-minute gift for the experience-seeker or spirits connoisseur in your life.
