South African Born Artist AdELA looks to shift the way we view ladies in the music game, by not only creating an original sound but by empowering the many young women who look up to her.
Following the release her second single “Main Attraction” featuring Rap legend Kool G Rap, AdELA has decided to team up with heavyweight rappers Royce Da 5’9 and Jon Connor, for an inspirational soulful record entitled “Crown”.
While it is true that she is the only woman on a male-dominated project she makes sure to stay true to who she and remind listeners of her name.
In her latest project Dreamers & Thinkers, AdELA collaborates with longtime producer & Grammy Award-winner STREETRUNNER, as well as prominent hip-hop artists Fat Joe, Royce Da 5’9, Cormega, Torae and Jon Connor, to create a project that is sure to put her name on the charts.
When asked AdELA mentions that her motivation behind the track was her love her dreaming and dream chasing, looking to send the message
“We all wear our own crown, and that we should never let anyone take it or our shine”
