On Wednesday, July 13th, Def Jam hosted the album listening for Lil Durk’s sophomore album Lil Durk 2x.
The listening was held at the legendary Quad Studios with Lil Durk thanking his Def Jam family for their support. Dej Loaf stopped by to show her support and Def Jam’s own EVP of Publicity Gabe Tesoreiro and CEO Steve Bartels also came out for the listening commending Durk on his second project. The night was an intimate gathering of Def Jam loyals, writers and other industry talents. The night was turnt with an open bar and lit atmosphere.
The album includes features from Future, Yo Gotti, Young Thug, Dej Loaf, Kid Ink and Ty Dolla $ign. XXL called the first single released off the album, She Just Wanna, a “club banger.”
This Chicago native has come a long way since his Glo Gang affiliation with Chief Keef and his single “Sneak Dissin.” Today Durk is expected to release his album on July 22nd, and every track is as good as “She Just Wanna” so fans are in for an album full of bangers.
