Reagan To has accomplished more in her young life than many do in a lifetime. Her interests know no bounds as her career has spanned voice acting, screen work, and award-winning ballroom dance, and she’s quickly emerged as a formidable young talent in entertainment.

Whether bringing animated characters to life or lending her voice to one of the eeriest and most recognizable figures on TV, she’s continuously honed her skills to leave a specific mark on each project she touches. From Pixar’s Elemental to Netflix phenomenon Squid Game, Reagan’s unique talent brings a distinct depth and precision to each project.
As the English dub voice of the unforgettable “red light, green light” doll from the series, To collaborated closely with directors to capture the character’s unsettling tone, honing the subtle emotional shifts required, even within just a few lines.
The animatronic from the Netflix series is named Young-hee, a large doll with a motion-sensing eye that detects when players in the “Red Light, Green Light” game move during the “red light” phase, leading to their (gory) elimination. Inspired by a character from traditional Korean children’s books, her presence on the show instead points to nothing but danger.
“For that Squid Game audition, I didn’t even have a microphone- I just recorded it from my phone because that was really my first voice-over audition…Now I feel like I’ve learned so much and I’ve become, hopefully, a better voice actor and actress.”
Her role went viral, with over 330 million viewers and 2 billion hours watched of the show. Her success continued when Pixar’s Elemental, in which she voiced “Big Kid Ember”, went on to be nominated for an Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Critics’ Choice Award.
To has been a creative force to watch—and she’s only getting started.
