Disney Channel’s hit comedy series, Raven’s Home returns for a nostalgic fifth season as Raven heads back to her That’s So Raven roots.

The season will follow the infamous duo Raven Baxter [Raven Symoné] and her son Booker Baxter [Issac Ryan Brown] as they return to Raven’s hometown in San Francisco to take care of her dad, Victor Baxter [Rondell Sheridan] after he suffered a mild heart attack. Suddenly Raven finds herself taking on a whole new role as a parent to her parent as well as raising her young cousin, all while trying to adjust to life in her old stomping grounds. Meanwhile, Booker has his own obstacles to work through as the new kid at Raven’s old high school, trying to make a new group of friends while simultaneously trying to hide his psychic abilities.

While fans are eager to catch the new season, they can’t help but notice the drastic changes to the cast. As we say goodbye to season regulars such as Navia Robinson, Jason Maybaum, Sky Katz, and That’s So Raven vet, Anneliese van der Pol we welcome new faces, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Felix Avitia and Emmy Liu-Wang.  Raven is confident that fans will adore all the new characters stating, “we have created such an amazing cast and group of people to where you can find a little bit of your personality in one of our characters.” One of those new but old faces will be Rondell Sheridan, who plays Raven’s father. Sheridan was a series regular back on That’s So Raven and will make his grand return to the series this season. Many fans will be getting acquainted with Raven’s TV dad but for others, this has been a long-awaited return. “When people say to me, you are the dad I wish I had, I mean those words are heavy,” Sheridan shares as he reflects on the outpour of love he has received from fans over the years.

Raven’s Home premieres on March 11.
