Cameron Silver – celebrity stylist, best-selling author, founder of the legendary vintage couture store Decades – is the new fashion director of H by Halston, QVC’s new collection.
True to the vision of Roy Halston Frowick, the first American celebrity designer whose precepts for fashion were luxury, functionality and accessibility, the H by Halston collection featured versatile and wearable staples for the modern woman. The theme of the collection was draped and elegant silhouettes with an understated yet elegant palette of greys, navys and pinks. From the comfortable yet elegant grey cowl-necked poncho, to the high low hem cardigan and silk and cashmere tops, the collection features tops that will fit flawlessly into your wardrobe. They can be easily paired with the fitted, dark-hued pants in the line, such as its chic faux leather pants. There was a black, fitted jumpsuit that can transition effortlessly from day to night. And for those looking for an iconic Halston throwback, the collection features a stunning ultrasuede coat, perfect for the office and for a night out. There was also a to-die-for ribbed cardigan with a luxurious, detachable faux-fur lining, which made me miss winter just a tiny little bit. The collection also includes many classic leather goodies: handbags, riding boots, booties, heels, and slippers, and belts. Silver’s H by Halston aspires to add both elegance and functionality to your wardrobe. The 128-piece line is scheduled to launch in September, exclusively with QVC.
