The wedding bells are ringing!
The big multi-occasion dress store, Pronovias has just released a preview for its Atelier Pronivias and Pronovias 2017 bridal collections, designed by the firm’s creative director, Hervé Moreau.
The Atelier Pronovias 2017 collection features new fine fabrics and a variety of shapes. For the first time the collection will include stretch chiffon, which will sculpt the body and produce new shapes with its delicate texture.
The collection will also feature returning fabrics such as lace, Mikado silk, crepe and silk gauze. As for shapes the designs in the collection will caress the body beautifully. One of them being the empire waist dress that is designed to fit the body with bias cuts and fabrics to achieve a flowing sculpture effect. The collection also features the returning mermaid shape and new one-shoulder style braided or embroidered with gemstones and designs with open backs.
The Pronovias 2017 collection features the use of color, new materials and light designs. The collection uses gold accents and flashes of light to make the dresses come to life. The dresses are a par excellence color, which is still white but with a subtle nuance of color. The degradé effect is achieved by adding numerous layers of tulle in different pastel shades such as pink, vanilla and green.
The Pronovias collection also innovated with paillettes and Valentina gauze. These are combined to emphasize movement and lightness in the dress. Like the Atelier Pronovias collection Pronovias 2017 features different shapes to emphasize the body and makes the dress appear lighter. The collection also includes fifties-style inspired cocktail dresses with detailing at the shoulders, waist, neckline and back.
