On Saturday, October 20th, Taste of sbe’s hosted a grand celebrity dinner with Rolling Stone Magazine at Skybar at Mondrian Los Angeles.

The evening was to benefit Make A Wish Foundation. Special guests included Rudy Mancuso, Maia Mitchell, Trey Songz, Emile Hirsch, to name a few. Guests at the Grand Dinner enjoyed signature cocktails courtesy of Diageo as well as Daou Vineyards. sbe’s featured renowned chefs on hand from all over the world, each with his or her own course, including Martin Heierling, Katsuya Uechi, Danny Elmaleh, Makoto Okuwa, Jose Icardi, Yoshi Migita, Diego di Lao and Renata Ferraro.

The dishes were of course decadent, including Otoro Tuna Tartar with Imperial Caviar & 24 Karat Gold, Hand Folded Tortelloni with Celery Root And Black Truffle, Wagyu Gyoza, and ‘The Frenchie’ burger by Chef Daniel Boulud.

The dinner closed out with a toast by Chief Operating Officer of sbe, Sebastien Silvestri, and Mike Kallhoff, President of Make-A-Wish.

Following the Grand Dinner, guests headed to HYDE Sunset for an epic after party hosted by Trey Songz. New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton joined with a huge group as well for the celebrations. The after party was full of excitement, positive energy, and great music.

Prior to the eventful finale of Saturday night, the Grand Weekend kicked off with a Veuve Clicquot Rose and Whispering Angel Brunch at Cleo Third Street, attended by James Kennedy among others, followed by one-of-a-kind activities and events that included a private shopping experience with Harry Winston on Rodeo Drive, a cooking class and a Farewell Brunch at Doheny Room. A percentage of proceeds from all ticket sales benefited the local Make-A-Wish Chapter where sbe will grant a wish of a vacation for a few winning families to the Bahamas for an incredible experience at the new SLS Baha Mar resort. Lincoln escorted VIPS all weekend in their luxury fleet of vehicles.
