This past week the Khombu and Sporto Footwear brands previewed their new Fall/Winter 2015 Collections.
Owned by the same parent company, these two brands aim to create footwear that is both stylish and durable. Sporto, the maker of the “Original Duck Boot” focuses on fashionable, weather resistant woman’s boots. What initially launched as a rubber company in 1872 transformed into a successful footwear brand in the 1950’s, combining rubber footwear and fashion. The fall/winter 2015 features a variety of Sporto’s classic duck boots re-imagined, stylish ankle boots with buckle accents and quilted/padded boots that have a signature flare unlike most functional footwear.

The Khombu fall/winter 2015 collection will include their signature K-Guard, K-Comfort and K-Vent shoes designed to withstand the elements, provide comfort regardless of the season and to provide maximum ventilation respectively. This fall/winter season Khombu will also be releasing an outerwear collection including a variety of down parkas, tri-season jackets and soft shell jackets. The footwear in the fall/winter 2015 collection include a range of bright metallics to muted neutrals, fur linings and insulation. In addition, most of the footwear in this collection can protect against -20 degrees fahrenheit. This collection also expands Khombu’s partnership with the US ski team and marks the first time the “Official Apres Ski Boot of the US Ski Team” will be available in the states.
